Forum: Cooperative Chairperson’s - Governing and Building Financially Sustainable Cooperatives

This forum is for cooperative chairpersons who seek a platform to share their experiences of leading cooperatives and to share best practice about working with cooperative members, growing a cooperative and ensuring financial sustainability. The forum will also produce a report that will be shared with government based stakeholders, private sector, the broader cooperative sector and with international organisations interested in the work of South African cooperatives.

The forum is founded on the principle that cooperatives must be well governed and chairpersons need to ensure this at all times. This forum will then engage directly the issues of profitability, financial sustainability and the role of chairpersons in ensuring that their governance results in success.

Forum Fees: R494
Forum packs and bags will be couriered to those joining the event virtually. The pack includes contact lists of international organisations looking for collaborations with South African Cooperatives, material on governance and financial sustainability management.
